Going by the rumoured specification this new high-end compact from Olympus sure is a competitor to Panasonic LX-5 / Leica D-Lux 5.

Wow, the FT5s are coming fast & furious!!! Interesting specs, but I think the Fujifilm x100 is nicer looking, and definitely more ex too...

but remember E-5 has the same sensor as all the PENs... but we all know how good the improvements with the image processing were.

now, that would be a good reason for current pen owners to upgrade

I want a high-end compact for walk-about. Olympus' offering come just in time if the rumour turned out to be true. Sometime, its darn heavy to lug a E-5 around. :sweat:

Sounds good. I also like the X100. But ZX1 is not a m4/3 sensor right? Its a PNS sensor from the LX5 right. In that case...maybe I will stick with the X100.
