M mount module from Ricoh...

Question: Anyone used the 28mm module? What's the general feedback? Thanks.

There are at least 5 ppl from RF.SG has it, including me, all are quite happy with the performance as far as I can recall.

i am using the 28mm...with the new firmware...it is my walkabout lens...sharpness is very good also..surprisingly focus well in low light also.

Think u r right Sim.

Hmm.. I have the 50mm Macro. But I am thinking if I should get the 28mm. Do you guys think I should get the 28mm or wait for the M module?

I seriously believe that Leica lens will definitely out perform Ricoh lens, without the automatic modes on the GXR, so wait a little longer..

If funds not an issue, get the 28. It's fast and you get the AF for streets. I've got both modules with a hood on the 28. Waiting for the M module...

Great news. Time to scour eBay for those M lenses...
Hope Ricoh will price the module reasonably though.

Actually this is M mount so can also use adaptor with LTM lenses. Really got alot of choice

Not only M LTM, Nikon to M mount adaptor and you can also use those lenses on GXR.

Anyone knows roughly How much is a GXR currently?

Korean Gariz straps Chifei brought in for the X100. Improvised for Ricoh GXR. The GXR lug is narrower so need to improvise to pull the leather through the lugs. I stringed a straw rope through the lugs and use it to pull the leather through. Other than that, it smells really good and slim. Got burgundy and brown in addition to this black.

The experience for M lenses on m4/3 is not really 'RF'. Hope this one can be better!

Thanks blacvios..hopefully its a much improved system to use with m mount lens compared to m4/3
