M-Mount lenses on Lumix G1

If you are familiar with Canon50mmf1.5 (Sonnar clone), it's very similar (almost identical) in look & rendition.

So pretty! Complete set with matching hood too!! My favorite RF lens of all time!

Topcor50f1.5: To differentiate from Canon, I use the black & original filter for Topcor

Wah! Double the pleasure! Looks like I have to consider Topcor already. You guys are always digging up things to tempt me...

Cheers,

Benny, buy a panasonic G1 and try out your canon 50/1.5!

Jack's assistance at Benphoto.

Taken with Nokton 40mm/f1.4 S.C. After trying 50mm, 35mm, 75mm, 40mm, I personally find the 40mm/f1.4 most suitable to use with the G1.... Compact, easy to focus, right focal length for portrait... just perfect. :)

Too many poison on this thread.... I dun even dare think trying to find one in ebay....:)

Haha... just for the fun of it - same gal, same time, same lens but shot with M8 :)

This lens has good centre sharpness and the bokeh is not that bad as reported.
(The LCD spoil the pix, oh well...)

sorry, me no understanding... how did the m8 lcd spoil the pic?

the pic was overexposed?

LOL, I meant that black LCD monitor at the right bottom corner of the pix lah :bsmilie:

I think the LCD (Black object) spoil the pix
oh... ah... i see. :bsmilie:

but i think that the pic can benefit from a little more contrast in the b&w conversion... might just be my personal preference though.

Ok, let there be a wee bit more contrast:

Must resist.....

Cheers,

Any chance to see some "100mm" f1.0 noct shots? :)

Cheers,

Resistance is futile...

It's a cheap camera body... compared to your lenses... afterall, all your canon lenses will gain a new lease of life with the G1! No more complain of front focus, back focus, no focus, bad focus...

Trust me... u will love this camera. And the best thing is... IT'S MADE IN JAPAN!

I don't think the oly is going to be made in the land of the rising sun....
