I wonder why Singapore so expensive.... I thought our currency is stronger should be cheaper import..

TK Photo: they don't bother to answer telephone. I tried more than 10 calls over an hour period.

MS Color: No stock for white.

SLR Rev:No stock for white.

Got mine from People's Audio.

Hi guys,

Some update, a friend was at TK Photo yesterday. They are selling the LX5 at $680 but no stock for white colour. Comes with 8GB card and screen protector.
Think most places are out of white colour.
I got mine a White LX 5 last week and think it was the last piece at Cathay. Love the colour!
Looking for a case now!

I bought my black LX5 from TK Photo at $680 (white is out of stock). The service is quite ok, the person even helped me to paste the screen protector on the LCD. But I realised that the free casing doesn't really fit nicely unless some force is exerted in order to close the casing. But I do not want to risk spoiling my lens mechanism if do it too often. So next task is to get a good casing.

My fren just got back from Japan,

Got his LX-5 with 8GB SDHC and case for only Yen35,750 (SG$573.50), some more has international warranty (not sure can work in SG or not). He wanted to get a GF1 white only Yen41,000 (SG$650ish) with freebies, but deem it too troublesome (buy lenses, dry cupboard, etc etc).

Oh and the menus are in English.

Just FYI. Maybe if anyone interested can ask a fren to buy one on their trip to Japan.
