About the 8 GB SD card that is packaged, what brand and speed class is it?

One important question regarding LX5 available in Singapore:
Can the LX5 we purchase from our local shops record video at 30fps? That too in both AVCHD and M-JPEG modes?
My recent Lumix TZ10 does not allow me to record at 30fps.
For those who may not be aware, recording video at 30fps gives a smoother motion (less jerky especially when panning the camera) than 25fps.
I hope manufacturers simply allow us to record video in both NTSC (30fps) and PAL/SECAM (25fps) like in the good ol' days! Especially when modern present day TV sets can automatically detect the frame rate in the video and change modes automatically!

Cant recall, dont have the set with me now! But i normally wont use the ones in the package. I use my Scandisk 16GB most of the time!

I got it for S$158 at (AP Funan)
It is for LX3 and perfectly fit on LX5.
in my previous reply, i mentioned my gf bought her LX5 @ $680 at HN FN.
it doesnt include SD card, nor, case, no sceen protector.
my gf bought this LXC3 case at HN FN @$119. really nice case. but troublesome, have to unscrew and screw on everytime to take out SD card or battery.

Got mine from HN Hougang mall at $680 too.
For those going HN to buy, if Funan is too troublesome (especially this F1 weekend),
can just drop by other branches, just tell them that Funan is giving $680. They call to check and come back with matching price. Thats what I did.

nope overpriced even with the extras.Guys i've gotten a deal at 799 which includes lx5, 2x 8g sd card, standard case, third party horse shoe flash and screen protector. Do u think this is a gd deal? Lets share our ideas.

Just called HN Funan, was quoted the price of $680 (with 8GB card and case) is only if you buy the extended warranty of $85. If you dun want to get the warranty it will be $700. HN NorthPoint is retailing at $799 and when I said HN Funan is selling at $680, the guy said to check with the Funan branch people zzzz... :S
