John3:16 actually willing to sell it to u? When I ask them for hot shoe cover they recommended me to cut and stuff a piece of card board in...

ya.. why not if you are paying them? haha..
in fact when i ask them is there any LX3 hotshoe cover, they told me to use alternative choice which is nikon bs-1 which can be fitted nicely into the lx-3.. they quoted me $13-15..
MS color quoted me $10..

then Florence called me arnd 2 weeks, she say she's order a batch of hotshoe covers for LX3.. each at $3.. but just now i called, they say don't have.. only got the nikon bs-1.. so contridicting...

$28 from Orient Photo at 6th flr SLS. Packaging looks cheapskate though.

Hi all ..

Came back from MS Color yesterday .. they offering a package for LX3 ... $699 for the below:

1 x LX3 camera of coz
2 x 4gb memory card
1 x 3rd party battery
1 x camera case
1 x lcd screen protector

How is this package? So far based on phone asking from Alan and cathay, this is the best package.

Any others better offer? Planning to get LX3 soon .. got poisoned .. deep deep ..

but till date nv hear from her, so i called back.. another guy call Mr Loh say only got Nikon BS-1 that fits.. selling at $10..

so now i'm also confused by them..

Can you enlighten me, on that filter is there a small rubber ring so that it will fit to the LX3 lens? Or do we use glue, double sided tape to attach?

Once the filter attached, can we use the lens cap?

Btw fellows, what strap r u using with your LX3? Cos I browse through both the Op-Tech & Matin straps at OP this afternoon, and they are all too wide! I'm looking for less "loud"/more low-profile straps with a narrower, but STILL neoprene middle portion. Any thinner recommendations?
