LX3 pictures

hi sinceredeal,

when i bought LX3, there was no GF1.
Today, i would buy a GF1

anurag

thanks anurag. i plan to get a camera soon...thot of getting GF1 but not sure will it be heavy like dslr. If i ever buy a GF1 pancake, i suppose i will not buy additional lens, bcos of weight. I like to travel light. do you think i suit a LX3 or GF1?

hi sinceredeal,
actually i've also never handled these cameras...from what i hear, they will be bigger than LX3, but the picture quality will be better.
I think you should go to a shop and hold it and see if you like it...here in india, they are not available yet.
the good thing about holding them and judging that way is you will immediately know if it suits you.
that said, it should be lighter than a dslr.

hi grumpy,
thanks,
anurag

You made me feel bad that I bought another camera to replace my LX3 as my main camera.. haha.. nice street shots..

hi anurag

I have a lx3 and have not been shooting much, you have totally shamed me! You AWESOME pics inspire me to utilize lx3 as it deserves! Thanks for rekindling my passion for street and landscape!

Cheers!

hi thunderflash,
thanks for your kind compliment
lovely people all you are, what with so much praise...some of which i really don't deserve.
i am feeling good.

You are too modest! I like the BnW photos and the twilight photos. Overall, a nice thread!

Beautiful pics. They really show what the LX3 is capable of (in the right hands). Do you have any accessories like external flash or electronic viewfinder?

hi, thanks
no, i shoot available light only...
only got a polarising filter, which fits in an adapter (46mm).
also, a uv filter, because the lens is very very velnurable.

Hey come on, the LX3 is a great little camera. But when coupled with a great photographer, it becomes an excellent camera as proved here.

Very well taken, you put it to the limit. Taken without any filter infront we can see the color n sharpness of the lens.:thumbsup::thumbsup:
