Sorry, for the setting i m not able to tell u as i can't see the pic i post here. I only can see the ClubSnap logo. Anyone here know how to solve this problem?
If i am not wrong, most of the pic i took that day are shooting in Manual, f/4 to f/7
Yup, i use cokin sunset filter to add some effect. Although it makes the pic looks not real, but I like the effect. ;p especially the one which looks like Mars.

I think you just need to refresh your browser. At least that was what I did to get mine back..

I must say the 16:9 format takes some getting used to. My 2nd serious day of shooting with it and slowly starting to love it. At first it was more ackward. I went from 35mm, to square medium format, to 16:9. A bit of a rollercoaster act.

Btw. the best lobster I've eaten was one that was barbequed over charcoal fire...yum, yum, yummie, yum! You can just taste the charcoal fire flavour in the meat...it really enriches the whole experience...the meat is just so omph! I guess that lobster in ur pic was just simply steamed...?? No? :bsmilie:

yes nothng fancy with that lobster. just steamed. It took just a few minutes to crack em open and eat it. i'll have to see if i can't try that fire flavored version next time.

Especially pic #3, i really like the colors & texture of the road. But i think the red color a little bit over saturated ler.
Mind to share how u adjust the pic to make the road look like this?
Pic #4 noise is visible. Lots of people dun like noise. But to me, if handle properly, sometimes noise can be great too. hee hee...

Just wondering with all your great pics, do you guys do much post processing to your photos? I'm having such a hard time, and whenever I see these pics I wonder why people are complaining about noise and all. Does it take much effort to get good pictures out of the LX2?

No it doesn't take much effort. For me, most of my pics are straight out of camera without PP.. only cropping and resizing.

If I was to make relatively small prints the watercolour effects and noise wouldn't be really noticeable in low light shots of ISO200-400 would they?

Well you can make the best out of your tool or complain about it faults...
The camera isn't perfect but it is perfect for me. :bsmilie: I embrace it's noise and leave it be. It's more film like you could say. alittle gritty noise always helps in urban photos too.

As far as getting the good results, depending on the scene and the lighting and subject. Some people enjoy saturation and others desaturated muted colors - then sometimes the exposure and color are spot on and don't need a thing changed.

Do shoot RAW to get the best results with this camera and I'd say in general if available for maximum tweakability.

Thanks for the info, but I probably won't have the patience to shoot in RAW and post process it, although if its like a landscape photo where I have many chances to take it then I don't see any note reason to shoot RAW, but if it's a social moment and you need to take a photo then maybe JPEG is better because it's quicker to save?

The reason I ask is that I will probably go to Singapore and often take pics inside restaurants and inside houses of relatives and most probably lighting is poor. I just want to see if the LX2 can handle these situations comfortably, as I'm also considering the IXUS 850IS.

In any case thanks for everyone's help, I've taken the easy way out and I'm just going to get the 850IS.
