The Sunpak Remotelite II flash which I got from Cathay Photo works very well with my Leica D-Lux 2.drizzle said:Hi weekh,
I have the Leica D-Lux 2 version and been trying to use my old Olympus T20 as an external flash with a slave trigger and I can't seems to be able to get it to "sync" correctly. At night in my living room with fluorecent white lamp when I shoot the living room with the slave flash on, the picture turns out very dark.. even darker than shooting with just the onboard flash. Same thing happens when I shoot in darkness with slave flash on.
Funny thing is that when I shoot under the same lighting condition on near object its too powerful and the picture becomes over exposed. I am using manual mode with the aperture setting according to the flash distance.
Any ideas or helps is appreciated.
Thanks.

weekh said:I don't know much about Panasonic and its range of digicam models.
I only know about LX1 and am eagerly waiting for the L1. ;p
Marvy said:hold on...then how do you know the LX1 will be this good? what makes you want to choose this one among the other P&S camera in the first place?? uhhh...im getting confused now...tz1 or lx1 or fz7....

(about to head to Scandinavia w/LX1 and a MF camera... guess which will get used more?)
weekh said:...I would prefer something like a DSLR where I can shoot serveral frames per second to have a better chance. The LX1 is really slow inbetween shots (about 7 seconds) giving u less chance of success...
