nova_nebula said:wow! So sharp even Smith Street name is legible! I doubt my F10 can be this good. ;p
icarus said:Dude, the LX-1 has a budging lens when powered down. GR-D is actually much compact.
I suggest u go down to the shop and try both cameras hands-on. On paper, LX-1 looks impressive, but when it comes to the actual handling and feel, GR-D wins hands down. :sweatsm:

But with digital, the game has changed.
The only attractive part of GRD is the 21mm adapter.
Otherwise, GRD doesnt seem to have a competitive edge over the zoom lens LX1. I won't be bothered if it is alumimum or plastic or gold plated as long as it is light weight and tough enough for normal picture taking.
I've read some negative comment on the focusing and operation of the GRD. Don't seem to see much review on this camera though...

litefoot said:Can. I had pit the F10 against GR-D and its no slouch.
allakazoo said:High iso, F10 sure lose, as GR-D can shoot RAW. Plus, the F10 almost always choose f2.8 how to be sharp? The fujinon lens is no slouch, but you don't pay almost 1K for nothing. GR-D rocks too! I'll bet my last $.![]()
