LYY quitting politics is partly to satisfy his thirst to explore the world and to find out about himself.

He wants to do something more transcendental, enlightening and more spiritually challenging than taking charge of making the trains running on time and without breakdowns.

It's an unfair statement because practically everyone in Singapore has amassed a small fortune in the good and prosperous years created by the able leadership.
