well .. "a man with a camera doesn't make him a photographer"

3 pages liao and TS still haven't shown us how "bad" those pics are?

To those who want to view the pictures. I apologise, The couple dun really want to show anyof their faces or relatives in their pictures to post on the net.

Thanks for some people who can understand. Those who just wanna find problem... *you know who u are...* are really werid pple.

Actually to me, I practice photography on my own ways thru years, I can say my skills are much better than many pple here *after using more than 40-50 cameras.. However I dun do it for business hence I am not confidence to shoot for them *it would be better for experience wedding "photographers"...

And By the way, someone say about the ufo? Its a silly mistake. what got to do with this issue? Some pple here are trying to be funny or look down on others.

Cmon, If you wanna see who have more lens, or cameras, let me know~ LOL~ *I dun like to show off my skills and lots of cameas* Be modest~~

Anyway, My purpose is to let pple aware of such pple, nothing else. No War or poking comments... pls. And PEACE to the world.

maybe the ts very humorous...

he know how to laugh at himself, he is the photographer :bsmilie:

Mr NightMare86, I realise you are kinda childish and sacastic, I think you really have a werid negative characters. Should look upon yrself and change.

I want to see, i want to see. :sticktong:sticktong:sticktong

opps.....i must be modest....

I can only Advise to all "Wedding Photographers", You need to evaluted yrself, understand yr skill, improve if necessary before commiting to service.

I can seriously tell you, using good equipments is USELESS if the skills are not there.

Mostly importantly other than equipments, Composition, and blur free image is 1st prioty
Try to shoot at less noise as possible. Avoiding ISO 3200 and Above is BEST if necessary.

PP for *Basic Colour adjustment* is very necessary for photos that are not so good, Cropping is also important.

dun just shoot and print the pictures directly from camera, *Even if you are using 1ds Mk3*

If everything applys, I believe both clients and yrself will be happier after the shoot.

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Btw.....if you want to create awareness....please more details....

Because everyother day got ppls starting thread of.......

lousy model
lousy photography
lousy buyer
lousy seller
lousy shop
lousy product

See until siaz......no detail = no purpose.

I want to see, i want to see. :sticktong:sticktong:sticktong

opps.....i must be modest....

As requested. I do not know to other pple if is only little compare to professional.
But Its my currently "canon system" for now. Minus away 10++ lens, bodies I have sold, trade or given to my relatives/friends earlier. Beside this i have tons of rare Flashes. I am a also a collector of good rare cameras, from sony, canon, nikon, Fuji, Kodak, Minolta, Olympus...etc.

I pick up photography because I love and appreciate all my camera systems.

Anyway, I hate arguing, PEACE to the world~ And God bless those who are negative and also trying to find fault. Make them change and world peace.

Those ppls who know me.....see this will laugh. :bsmilie::bsmilie:

btw, many ppls here are just helpful to see into your friend's problem, giving out this type of posts and remarks is showing very bad on yourself, ego is something one must control in CS to make it a most peaceful place.

Can't take others comments and remarks, then don't start a thread asking for help, what you are doing here is just plain nagging and wanting people to support you. When you fail to get support, you start throwing out funny remarks.

By the way, to many pple who requested for photos, names watever, Do u think its that easy? I am not here to pinpoint anyone who are lack of skills, show others their work, Identified them...etc.

My main motive is to let pple aware of such situations and also to photographers who provide Wedding services to understand the sitiuation and upgrade if necessary.

Equipments are mean to be upgrade so does improvement of skills are requried for monetary purpose.

If those who thinks that what i am stating is fake or just some fuss... Trust me when i say lousy pictures and they are really BAD and there are many pple those this currently in SG~

And lastly I apologise for my english which very poor....~

I feel sorry for any couple to have their day ruined, but the thing is "Professional" just means someone wanting to charge you money for it...

Someone here once wrote, difference between a Professional and Hobbyist is that a Professional will charge you big money for small work and a Hobbyist will spend big money to achieve desired results.

Something like that.

P.S. No offence to all Professionals here, only those without skills but yet dare to charge money.

Waiting for pple to support me???

LOL, I am much more indepent then you even think... I am the one who walk upon the path of difference from normal folks and i dun required support and never think it that before. I dun throw funny remarks also... I dun have much ego too because i am a very peace loving person. :) You can ask those who actually bought things from me, *if some pple here like to check on history so much* lol.

Anyway, its not the point of anything, I am not here to find any quarrel or debates. I am here for "situation awareness"

Dear CLubsnap OFFIFICALS, kindly remove this listing if its getting more negative.

Thanks ~ :)

then, TS got married many times recently?:D

Lol, I wish i am so lucky like many guys in singapore, Always wanted, always get loves, alway marry. But that not for me...

Oh rest assure it's not by catchlight. :) I know who the photographer is from his website that my friend gave me. :)

Azul123, thanks, glad you see my point.

I've nothing against wedding photographers. If anything, I hope to see the job grow into a nice, respected profession like those overseas. However optimistic I may be, I don't think it's going to happen. I'm into photography also so I can imagine I don't like wannabes spoiling or creating problems so that's why I feel irked by all those bad pictures taken by seemingly good but in actual fact, bogus photographers.

It's like a rojak trade where these days, anybody or anyone jumps into it. Look at the Wedding portfolios posting and those who are sourcing for a photographer can get one lonnng list to choose from. To be fair, the usual names are good, with some consistently nice works from newcomers also. But there are still many black sheep wannabes who take on wedding jobs like they are out on a casual photo shoot with friends. And it's growing.

The good ones who have made a name for themselves can have a fairly guaranteed source of high-paying customers to survive. But there will be many who are genuinely good and starting out and those mid level ones who will struggle. Cos as long as there are no standards or governing body to oversee and control the trade, wannabes will just spring up and perhaps, just cos they think they have a certain pro equipment, they rule the wedding photography world.

And I must add also, based on what I read from the forums, layman couples who know nothing about photography get impressed very easily. A typical comment would be "Wowww, I like the way the bride is isolated! You are such a good photograher! Can I book you on so-and-so date?" And the typical response from the photographer would be: "Thanks. :) I'm flatter by your compliments. I am free on that day. Have sent you a PM." Please lor, don't they know the lens has a big part to play in the isolation of the subject?

To whoever wanting to go into this profession, for goodness sake, please also spare a thought for the couple getting married.

Mr Kiwi, thanks for yr understanding...

Lol....if you see my first post in this thread, i actually support you.
Until now, i still believe what you said about those "pro", as i witness one super expensive pro AD photographer shoot a group photo in morning with his pro lens wide open.....and everyone except the bride is sharp. :what: (i also become part of his pro bokeh)

Everyday there are some many ppls starting up website and print namecard stating that they are super pro when their photo is CMI.

What i can't stand is until you start saying that you also very good because you own many camera......faint.....that what is the difference between you and that so call pro.

Have a nice day and everyone should move on. :)

Anyway, after all this *some silly and inconstructive comments*

Clubsnap Admin, Kindly remove this ad... I guess my purpose has already serve its purpose since I have post it for some time and there are quiet a few pple reading it *good or bad* The message should have already pass out to many photographers who online frequently.

Anyway, Be it right or wrong, I thanks everyone who make comments and ideas... **minus inconstructive ones**

I will not reply anymore even if one dun understand.

My final messege : Charge only if one is worthly, else practice with positive attutides, upon good skills & effort = success for both clients and yrself. In da end, everyone is happy.~

Good luck... Cheerz

PS : Kenshin Melford is my name... Tokyoexpress is the train I use to take many years back in Japan... LOL
