So you mean Royal paper is better Eudura paper ? I found that Eudura paper is thinner than Royal paper.

Its not a matter of one being "better" than the other. It is a matter of one's preference in the colour balance, and the "look" you want to achieve. Lower contrast is not a bad thing! In general, low contrast films (which print better on lower contrast paper) can preserve more shadow and highlight detail, and their typcially more muted colour is usually more pleasing when photographing people. But its all up to your own preference.

However, since I mostly use Fuji films, I prefer Crystal Archive printed on a Frontier.

IMHO, your choice of film should determine the choice of printer and paper.

apart from beautiful memories, does anyone know of anywhere else which uses metallic paper?
thanks in advance!

Hi guys, I love Kodak Royal Paper.... :) I think is a Premium Paper in the market. The paper is also thicker than other brands n it provides very natural skin tone colour. Try it!

Go for Beautiful Memories, nowhere else will give you what you want, trust me.

Where is Beautiful Memories?

If I'm using Fujifilm film, is it better for me to go for a lab that uses Fujifilm paper? Or will other paper (eg.. Kodak) be just as good? Just thinking if there is better color fidelity by using all from same brand..

Upzz for KT. Definitely too cheap for that kind of service and quality. Where to find? :)

Yes, Fuji and Kodak films print best on their own papers.

It will be easier to retain the particular characteristics of the film by staying within the same brand.

When my regular lab switched from CA (printed with a Frontier) to Royal (printed with a Noritsu) for 8X12 prints, it was impossible to colour-match enlargements to the original proof prints made on CA. The shift in red was very noticeable, so I had to go elsewhere.

Thanks.. Guess I'll be searching around for a recommended lab that uses Fuji paper. I usually shoot digital but have been asked to help shoot film for a friend's wedding. I've already bought Fuji 400 film, but the lab I usually use seems to be on Kodak paper..

Probably might try KT this time.. have been reading some good feedback about their digital prints. Anyone have experience with KT developing film?
