Go for Beautiful Memories, nowhere else will give you what you want, trust me.

I must admit they were friendly and the service is fast (claim to be within 45mins but usually takes abt 1 hr).

However, have to be careful of what you want your image to be as they use a type of paper that they called Lustre? which is a mix between glossy and matte. SO you have the photo in this slightly water proof semi-gloss paper. The drawback as most people will know is that using a matte or semi-gloss paper, you photos will not be as lively and sharp as it is print in the bright colours of the fuji FDT labs such as Konota. ;)

what is the difference btw professional endura paper and royal paper ?

have no experience for digital printing, only print film ones long time ago
so many people mention KT and beautiful memory and the color correction.

May i know what is color correction? they change the color of my digital picture files? why? and how?

why not send the files to fujifilm, kodak, or konica centers, the printing machines or paper in such stores like KT and beautiful memory are better than those branded printing centers?
hope someone clear my doubts since i no experience for digital printing :embrass:

Are they Kodak based or Fujifilm ?

Hotprint uses Agfa D-Lab2..

color correction basically means they will fine tune your colors. It is always best to calibrate your display devices to show accurate colors without color shifts. If you need special treatment by the labs do inform them in advance. If you have deliberate warm casts, inform the labs as well to prevent them from wiping out the warmness. There is of course limits to color correction can get since you cant expect a lab to do a lot of work for a single 4R print (especially when those shot with totally wrong white balance)

KT KT KT KT!.... love the work attitude there man... best! plus the prints are damn power... ;) ;)

My experience with KT is not so good. I'm still looking for a good photo print lab.

I would have to agree with sebastiansong about Hotprint. They are really very very good and excellent in providing service and the quality of prints.

However, if you are thinking of printing super huge images like 20 inches wide by 30 something inches long, then there is no where else but Photolab in Adelphi Shopping Centre. They are able to provide you with that kind of service and I have used that lab quite a number of times.

Fotohub has discount card also.. 10% off i think.. I have it somewhere, so almost the same price as KT.

I have not tried KT though but Fotohub is good for Kodak Prints.

the current name is MACH PHOTO, is not inside Parkway Parade, is in next building, Blk 87, just below YAMAHA music school next to MAYBANK.

If you looking for a nice shopfront and the latest state of the art, the only and number 1 Fuji FDI outlet in Singapore. Go some where else.

Endura is a metallic paper. :)

No, there are many different types of Kodak Endura paper. The Endura "family" of papers (Metallic, Portra and Supra) is generally lower contrast than the Royal "family" of papers.

Endura is better suited for low-contrast films where you want that muted look which is nice for protraits. But most people like vivid colours that "pop", even though that can look unnatural, so most labs run Royal.
