rafa's reply to mr moan is classic.

mr moan claims the ref made a mistake for not giving a penalty for arbeloa's handball in the penalty area.

rafa's reply, "if he says so, than it must be a penalty." to the laughter of all the journalists there.

you'll never walk alone!!!!!!!!!!!

hoooooo haaaaaaa!!!!!!

I think the chances of an all England Champion's League final and an all Spanish UEFA Cup final is quite high. It seems that the standard of England's big 4 is very high, while in La Liga, the average standard is high. England's mid tier teams are still nowhere near.

 ya. the commentator oso said the same.

the big 4 in EPL is way too strong and rich and influential but that's democracy for u. :bsmilie: :bsmilie:

Rich and influential will not always win you titles. Just look at Real Madrid. They are a rich and powerful club, and a squad of galaticos, yet they have not won any titles for a few years already. Teams like Valencia and Sevilla are not exactly loaded, yet they are up there fighting with the big 2.

At EPL, teams like West Ham, Aston Villa are not poor or lack resources, yet they still struggle. The key thing is management. It is how they manage their teams. Chelsea before Mourinho came was nowhere among the top 3 even though they already had Abramovich's money. And a team with Tevez and Mascherano's calibre are now in serious danger of being relegated.

So even though Liverpool may now be funded by US dollars, we will still need people like Benitez to gel the team together and fight for titles. Can you imagine if Graeme Souness is the manager now:o

yup, the manager is the most impt. read madrid's slide started immediately after they sacked their star coach vicente del bosque.

 ya! we need RAFA and we need a good striker(20+ goals a season), a decent right winger and a decent right back!

The top 3 teams in Spanish league are as good as big 4 in EPL i'd say. The reason why EPL teams are more successful, sometimes depends on the draw etc.. If Barca dont play against Liverpool, but to play against Man U or Chelsea, they may still be in CL. Matchups play a big part.

In terms of squad strength, money and players, Barca and Real is prob better then Liverpool and Arsenal.
