SONG BOH??????

ur chelski ain't got history unlike LIVERPOOL and manutd!

chew on it, sonny! all the $$ in the world can't buy u a proud history and heritage! :bsmilie:

I support the heated Red team

I respect the Red team of the 90s

I dont like green but I support Boston Celtics. Celtics holds the record of 16 NBA titles but havent won anything for past 21 years. Sounds familiar ? :bsmilie:

paiseh, dunno much abt basketball. never really good in the game:bsmilie:
i can bounce like a ball though, now. :bsmilie:

no choice leh.

i wish we all know what is on Rafa's mind sometimes.
even though we haf around 40million pounds to spend, we haf to b sure and certain of our targets jus in case we end up with another Bruno Cheyrou.

furthermore, 40million pounds isn't alot... haiz...

but 1million pound for me will be more than very very enuff. :bsmilie:

I am sure Rafa has his targets and is wise enough to keep quiet than to announce his targets openly less it will attract a moneybag who will move in faster with more cash to dangle infront of the club. Just like SAF, the purchase of Anderson, a Brazilian, came as a total surprise to everybody. Nobody had the slightest inkling that he would be the target. If he had announced if before the purchase probably someone else would have snapped it first just like what happened to Robben, Mikel, etc.:bsmilie:

Hello Friend

I have always said, victories and cup wins in the past are the past. Never dwell in the past and never live in the past.

Whichever team you support, your kind of comment is uncalled for and could start a flaming war. It's fan like you who give the club you are supporting a bad name.

no problem la.

u know why he does that?

becos...

Chelski ain't got no thread of their own even though they've won... the FA cup and the mickeymouse cup this season.

their fans are hiding at one corner and crying becos they lost the EPL title and were beaten in the semi-final of the European Cup competition by LIVERPOOL F.C, YET AGAIN!!!!

one question for the chelski fan,

SONG BOH???????

let's wait for the new season. meanwhile continue to post in the ultra frenly LIVERPOOL thread for like-minded soccer crazy fans.

he always does that. even the fans dunno who he gonna sign.

in the end, 2 young ginna from hungary. hardly does any kind of wonder to our hearts. :bsmilie:

actually, i know manutd leads the FA Cup winners' list.

the mickey mouse cup neh? dun tell me is Liverpool?

huh? chelski? huh????

Dont need to know about basketball for this case.

Celtics have made many bad selections all these years. Wrong coach, wrong players, bad management and foresight.

After Joe Fagan ( well he took over from Bob Paisely) no other managers fared as well. Ok may be K Dalghish but he also inherited Bob Paisely nuclues team.

Be careful with kids cos' your ex-Liverpool player, Alan Hansen said "You never win titles with kids". I don't think he dares to pass such comment again after he was made to eat his words by Beckham and company following our '99 treble. :bsmilie: :bsmilie:

Hello Friend

I have always said, victories and cup wins in the past are the past. Never dwell in the past and never live in the past.

 sometimes it is good to be in the past and reminiscence of the past achievements.

but then again, we need to look ahead but the past always bring some cheer or sadness.

in Liverpool F.C, i think our glorious past is really good.

our future dun look so bright though! :bsmilie:

only king kenny la.

after he left, the nightmare begins with the biggest clowns of them all, Graeme Souness.

excellent as a player but so so so so so so so titus bramble as a manager! hehehe dunno how else to describe! hahaha

roy evans' Liverpool of the late 90s is really good and excellent but its a pity he doesn't have it in him to go further with the team and finally he is replaced by a hungrier geard houllier.
by the way, we beat a eric cantona led manutd under roy evans and i think only lost once to them under roy. fowler was in his prime and call-me-more is in my view, the most complete english striker back then.

under gerard houllier... ... ... ...
its a mixed bag but we had some adventures too such as the treble cup triumph.

Hello the past achievement is fantastic. No denying.

Alamak the present team..........u know the rest. Takes time to gel a winning team to win consistent league football and not just cups. ;)

But we also beat Liverpool a few times when David James was the goalie! He made some blunders with high ball. But I like to watch Bruce Gobbelaar, the crown. Great entertainment value! :bsmilie: :bsmilie:

manutd still produces good british young players. but lately, there isn't much good talents. the last real talent is david beckham?

likewise for Liverpool, Stevie G is the last great talent.

arsenal... forget it. theo walcott is bought.

chelski is john terry.

yup, need a consistent line-up of players like what manutd always does. slight changes at most. the understanding is there, the system is in place.

liverpool haf too many style and formation and the consistent chopping and changing of players and tactics doesn't help.

but try telling that to rafa. it might work in the european front but not in the epl.

sometimes can't even beat the likes of bolton.

So u see any similarities between Celtics and LFC?

The current Celtics coach Doc Rivers like to rotate his line up. Then there was one coach Rick Pitino selected good players but dont know how to develop and position them properly.

tat was with gerard houllier.

david james is a really good GK. when we first signed him from watford, i remembered him as the GK with the Rat-tail vermicelli hair-do. hahahaha

he's really really agile and outstanding reflexes. even now, he's like 36, he is still in top shape and models for G.A. right? morder cum GK ok!

bruce grobbelaar kelong la. we all know it. he threw the trust Liverpool had in him. he was charged in connection with kelong but the suit was dropped due to lack of evidence of some sorts.

then he retired from the game and all his debts and troubles start showing up.

at that time, players' wages were not that fantastic. after the kelong incident, the players' wages sky-rocketed. it is also to prevent kelong.

nowadays most top players are so grossly paid, their material needs are satisfied. their personal glory and pride is at stake and hence we see them all the more keen to win games and lift cups.
