they happy now they dun have FA Cup as distraction
it is all planned

 master tactician.

what else u expect?

his entire defence is out of action due to injuries and compassionate leave
the midfield is basically given the youngsters a run out
only blurbuttock and looney there to wayang

well we can take comfort on last nite game.. that Leeds put off a shock 3rd round of the FA cup by beating Man U 1-0 at OT.. great game.. Leeds are really looking good..

As for us, we got 7 more days before the next game with Spurs.. I wonder where the consistency.. it is rather lacking if based on last nite game.. same old story.. though Torres could have snatch an underserved victory dying minutes..

BENITEZ DECIDES AGAINST VAN NISTELROOY

The Mail on Sunday says that 'Rafa Benitez is now unlikely to move for Holland striker Ruud van Nistelrooy in the transfer window, with the striker's recent injury record counting against him.'

Van Nistelrooy is, however, still likely to return to England. The Mail reckons that the Madrid striker will 'consider offers from Blackburn, Birmingham and Bolton in a bid to revive his career but has played only 141 minutes of football in the past year after a recurrence of his knee ligament injury.'

The News of the World also says that Van Nistelrooy isn't coming to Anfield and helpfully provides an explanation: 'RAFA Benitez has snubbed a move for Ruud Van Nistelrooy because he hasn't given up hope of luring Emile Heskey back to Anfield.'

Yet there's an immediate sentence of caution: 'Liverpool's financial problems make the chances of Heskey completing an extraordinary return to Merseyside slim.

'Aston Villa will resist efforts to sell to a top four rival and expect at least £5m, which is well beyond what Benitez can currently afford. But if Benitez can scrape any funds together by the end of the month he'll bid for the Aston Villa target man.'

HAHAHAHA

But Ferguson could not resist a dig at referee Chris Foy.

After a second-half punctuated by petty disputes and an injury to Beckford, plus five substitutions before the additional time was shown, Foy added an extra five minutes.

According to Ferguson, it was not enough.

"The referee gave five minutes," he complained. "That is an insult to the game and the players out there."
