Liverpool did not have much clear shoot at goals, porthsmoothy actually have a few good chance, clear shoot at goal plus the penalty of dont know why....lucky the grounds men shifted the goal post by 2 meters, all their shoot were "OFF" more like side focusing problem :sweatsm:

expected a tough game at south coast as we never do well there.

maybe i was over-expectant of the boys... :(

:bsmilie: ya, in a way we were fortunate, but they too were.

we've quite a few clear chance but as u knw, 2 big centerbacks in distin n campbell, ain't so good for us.

i was hoping campbell will not start. :(

portsmouth is always a tricky fixture especially away to them.

the penalty was for shirt tugging by arbeloa who had a very poor poor game imho. but the ref should have given the benefit as arbeloa beat kanu to the ball and cleared it. but that's just my opinion.

many others, pennant, sissoko, crouch and benayoun had a very poor game.

carra, agger and voronin were at their regular game. not their best though.

i just don't understand why rafa started with voronin and crouch, our third and fourth strikers in my book. voronin would have been better off partnering torres or kuyt (if available, dunno if he's injured). or else partner crouch with kuyt. it could be one eye on tuesday's away match to porto.

torres should have started and subbed in the second half. it would have been easier for him to make more impact than coming in as a sub when things are quite settled for their defenders.

personally i felt that this isn't a two points dropped match. it's more like we gained a point. portsmouth was all over us from the second half running.

add to that, crouch might really b leaving soon. he looks disappointed to be sub.

its a fair result for both sides but i damn bueysong the ref n linesmen. very clear 1 sided.:thumbsd:

waseh, chel$ki dropped 2 points at home!!! :bsmilie:

Portsmouth are to monitor Peter Crouch's position at Liverpool if the England striker turns down a new five-year contract at Anfield. (Daily Mail)

Fernando Torres urged Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez to hand him the No.9 shirt in a bid to make himself a Kop legend like Ian Rush and Robbie Fowler. (The Sun)

Still a long way to go. You'll Never Walk Alone!!!

Still the same top4. For a change, it is the other 2 teams chasing us and gooners. This time really a 4 horse race.

And a more interesting change, hotpots so close to relegation zone. No wonder they say they can be in the top 4, I guess they meant top 4 for relegation
;p
