The Daily Mail gives Kenny Dalglish both barrels this morning, writing that the 'pressure is growing' on the Liverpool manager after their draw with Aston Villa on Saturday.
However, this seems to be a hunch on behalf of their journalists, and they don't even claim to have spoken to 'club sources' or 'friends of Dalglish' or other such spurious guff that the papers come out with in situations like this. Treat with requisite suspicion, even though things ain't good.
Meanwhile, The Daily Mirror reports with some certainty that Andy Carroll will be on his way out in the summer.
The paper quotes 'an Anfield insider' as saying: "Kenny has gone out of his way to protect Carroll from criticism. He's straight with his staff, but many people here are concerned that players like Andy have not adapted to the Liverpool way."
Perhaps crucially, while stating that Carroll might fancy going back to Newcastle (although they probably couldn't afford his wages), the paper doesn't actually come up with any potential candidates to take him off Liverpool's hands.
Oh, and The People mention in passing that Luis Suarez is wanted by Roma, but we'd imagine that if he does leave Liverpool, it will be to someone better than that.
