Maxi shot hit the post... Yet again luckily 2-1 is enough to see us marching towards the final !! Maxi is in form this season to bad KD don't like to use him and Bellamy's speed is no words to say, too bad he old Liao can't last the game. Suarez trickery is damn good many time he twist and turn pass the defender at the by line he is back to his old form now. Carroll did well by helping to defend, knock down and holding the ball up field but his shooting is still F9 missed 2-3 great chance. Brad Jones did well too a steady performance. Overall still vomit blood as usual...

We're not sure whose job it is to seal deals for Liverpool these days, what with Damien Comolli now sunning himself in France, but nevertheless the club are being heavily linked (as opposed to the less-exciting, plain old 'linked') with Mexican winger Hector Herrera. Hector - what a great name.
The 21-year-old plays for Pachuca in the Mexican Primera División and, according to the Mirror, is the subject of 'Pool enquiries. Pachuca's executive director Andres Fassi told ESPN: "At the moment, we know Liverpool is interested. But that's all it is at this point, an interest.
"If Herrera leaves, it will be thanks to a sale. We will not loan him out or send him for a trial. He can surely be one of the Premier League's best players in two or three seasons. He's that good."
He doesn't sound too Fassi about letting Herrera leave. Fussy, geddit? Oh never mind.
