Torres was our man in our double over Chelsea.

He scored 2 at Anfield and had a dissapointing match last night

We have to thank Chelsea for the 50million and the 3 points

he helped us got a lot of $$ that will eventually help newcastle and ajax a lot, got 6 pts against chelsea, got us 2 new players who is interested to play for us..
while im still not happy at the circumstances of his departure and hope it never happens again, i'd say we've managed to get the best out of him!

Gerrard ruled out for England

Steven Gerrard has been ruled out of England's friendly with Denmark on Wednesday night.

The midfielder picked up a groin injury in Liverpool's 1-0 win at Chelsea and will not feature for Fabio Capello's side at the Parken Stadium.

England's vice-captain reported to his country's team hotel on Sunday night but the FA have confirmed that he has now returned to Merseyside.

Reds boss Kenny Dalglish had stated that he did not expect his skipper to play for the Three Lions.

"He has a groin problem," said Dalglish in the aftermath of Liverpool's victory at Stamford Bridge.

"He has to go so they can have a look at him but we've spoken to England and he'll not be playing."

Agree with everything you said but we were lucky last night with referee

I think the ref probably missed it. But certainly the linesmen must have been in a better position to see it.

And it is about time Liverpool get some benefits of the doubt right ? ;p
