PROBLEMS AT LIVERPOOL
Talk of some unrest at Anfield in the papers too.
The Mail on Sunday claims Pepe Reina, Fernando Torres and Glen Johnson have all decided that they wish to do one, with morale 'at an all-time low'.
Meanwhile, The Sunday Mirror claims Reina will 'hold showdown talks' with the Liverpool top-brass, looking for Rooney-esque 'assurances about the direction of the club'.
And if he decides that those assurances aren't to his liking, or that a couple of extra zeros on a contract offer don't do the trick, Arsenal are waiting.
Finally, The Sunday People goes with a fairly outlandish claim, that Liverpool are looking to sell Torres and replace him with Diego Forlan.
LIGHT AT THE END OF THE MERSEY TUNNEL?
In better news for Liverpool fans, the People also reckon Liverpool are all set to duke it out with Spurs for the signature of Ashley Young, who will cost around £14million, and has yet to sign a new contract.
Young said he wouldn't be discussing a new deal until the summer, which could be a problem for Villa as his current one runs out in 2012.
Roy Hodgson apparently has £30million to spend, and also wants Carlton Cole.
