Why would you want to disable it? Itz for the convenience to trace your thread mah. You can always ignore it......:dunno:

You can set email notifications off. I prefer having the tick there, makes it easier to keep track of posts I am following.

The tick and the email notification are 2 different service.

The tick just let inform you that you have replied in a particular thread, it doesn't send out email.

While in youc UserCP, under the "list of subscription", you can choose to activate the "instant email notification" or not.
