Some extra info -
one of the most interesting light painters is this guy called
Eric curry. His link is http://www.americanprideandpassion.com/
Search for light painting on youtube and you will see his sequence of exposing the subject.

The bright light that Tim has is called the Olight SR91 Intimidator - We were using it at mid range brightness of 700 lumens, it can be adjusted from 450 lumens to 1500 lumens.
