but not all the photos are light that...

I using Canon AE-1

did you accidently open the camera back midway or at the end of the roll?

need to take a closer look at your negs before reaching a conclusion

Hey hey hey ..... NOT so fast

If your AE-1 is very worn, throwing it away to get a new replacement seems better option.
I have met this kind of fault in my pentax cameras sometime ago ... well one get repaired but regret it ... because it cost me so much just to get the damn SHUTTER working ....

So you know the answer :D ...
Or do you not? After i junked that camera away ... i soon learned that the problem is due to the shutter delay mechanism fault ... happened to cloth focal-plane shutters ... mostly happened in high shutter speed .... but can be lower shutter speed as well ... that should explain the erratic huh ... so take note of your shutter speed and avoid them at all cost ;)

Hope this helps

yeah.. I suspect that it the slow shutter... because... the similliar shot using slow shutter are cloudling... will sent for some cleaning and repair...

Come on pal !
:( You don't have to bother spending 1/2 the cost of getting a mint used AE-1 body to repair this poorty

Correct me if i am wrong ... AE-1 is battery operated, without battery shutter limited or dead right? If i were you i'll go for Canon F-1n or FTn

it is a battery operated camera... no battery no work... I thinking of Canon F1n also...

But the F1 is kinda big and heavy. I prefer petite SLRs, but that's because I'm inclined towards rangefinders which are even smaller.
