andy johnson from everton? you mean gravesen? he would be a good catch but i doubt they would let him cross the mersey like that. more likely sell him to other clubs if they have no choice. anyway, not sure how is the state of our finances now. moro cost us more than we had originally planned and unless we sell some players, we may not have enough cash in the kitty to buy even indra shahdan.
sigh, as much i hate selling the clubs soul for cash, i do sometimes wish we have someone willing to finance us......
well, let's go reds! and let's hope on friday night, fergie doesn't have a pre-match party and invite all his referee friends.....i fear we may be playing 11 to 12 before the match even starts. we had a lot of decisions against us even when we were not playing man utd.

Dun think the black man is going to be standing on 'satan's  side. They have attracted enuff publicity with their handling of the game on the last 2 Man U matches.

i don't think they are intentionally helping man utd, at least i hope most of then don't. but fergie is good in mind games. a half time chat with the ref, something like "you did good ref but lookout for this guy, he nearly cost my lad his career..." . leaves an impression on the ref's mind. and let's put it this way, we've seen season after season when fergie and his boys swamp a ref and intimidate the chap when he gives a decision against them. the next time the ref wanna give a call against them, he maythink twice, especially when he's not 100% sure.
all i am saying is that, when you play fergie's team, you are not just playing football on the pitch against the 11 man utd players. it's a lot of mental games before and during too.

I dun deny there're mind games involved and Fergie's good at it. But if the ref is so silly as to get intimidated by him and his team... then i think he can start to look for another job. It's either Fergie or the FA. Let the ref himself choose who he prefers to end up standing up to.

yah, it does depend on the ref himself. just that i am saying i hope it won't be a factor in the game but it's always possible. refs are human too. they may not know they made a mistake. anyway, i really wonder how mike riley keeps his job day in day out.......
anyway, let's not dwell on the men in black. if they do their jobs and the reds do theirs, we have a pretty good chance of a victory. we have a great new signing and if the likes of garcia can pick up their game, we can still get something out of this season. and please....i know alonso is injured but no DIAO!!!!

btw, anyone know if josemi is still injured. he could certainly be a good player when he finds his feet but with his current form, giggs would tear him to bits if rafa fields him instead of finnan.

think giggs my play in center mid. dun think fergie uses him much as winger nowadays. not too sure bout josemi, but it doesn't matter. Cos more imptly is the midfield game. dun think DIAO got a chance.

real madrid is snatching him from everton...according to rumous that I read from net.

yes..he is still injured. I am sinful to feel happy that he is still injured...the way he leaking goals for his 1st 15 games with us..it is better that he is not playing. No need Riggs, even Fulham, Blackburn Rovers, Birmingham players had torn him down.

he is good at looking at linesman, waving his hand, and jog behind the striker, unfortunately striker from the opponent team.

as mentioned previously, the goal we conceded with josemi playing, at least 50% of the goal came from our own right. If it is not his fault, tell me who then ? anyway..he is very consistent....consistent of lacking ability shown to play in EPL.

Yah, i dun fancy Josemi at the moment. Nunez included also :)

He really zo xi mi...

Steve Gerrard, Gerrard; he'll pass the ball 40 yards; he's big and he's f***in' 'ard; Steve Gerrard, Gerrard.

i believe the formation will back to 4-4-2.

Morientes as target man, in the box...and baros play his normal role..To receive the ball 40-50 yards from the post....run in defenders..And support Morientes ( hope he can do good passing as the way he did to Mellor in the game we beat Newcastle 3-1)...

When attack from the wing...there are now 2 very goal alert striker in the box to try to capitalise the chances.

me worry more on our defending...Very confidence at the center (Carra+hyypia or Pelle and Dudek) , only if Finnan and Riise play as the wing back...IF Josemi and Traore come in..it is not as solid.

It's official now , Morienties is a RED . What number is he wearing ? Most probably we know the answer this evening. Around 2000-2100 hrs , there will be a conference. Can't wait.

you'll never walk alone!!

i think we might be able to achieve something this season!!!!

go reds go!!!!!

All I want to know about Morientes number is the total goal he can score for us for the remaining season.

I am not demanding mucn..he can't play CL this season, League Cup only has 2 games left (+ the one in Cardiff) . 15 is a good result and achieveable target for him..for the remaining EPL + FA ?

10 is not bad...I definately will not be very convinced if it is lower than 10...unless he suffers injury (touch wood).

Wat do u think ???

i think so long as the team wins and pick up 3 points in style...

it doesn't matter who the scorer is!!!! hahaha ALA rock!

haha i post no. 1401 here...

and long live liverpool!!!

With Gerrard, Alonso and Garcia playing , I am very sure he can score lots of goals. With Benitez in charge , we can attract world class players . Morienties is one of them and hopefully a few more to come. Aimar next please ! :)

morientes will be unleash against man yoo tommorw.
