carra had a great game. Man of the match for me. we had a few let-offs but we had a few chances too. main worry now is that chelsea has a clean sheet at home and if they can score against us at anfield, they have a good chance. don't see us scoring more than one goal. still, we did a great job and now stand a good chance to make it to the finals.
cisse gave them a bit of problem when he came on. baros was a bit of a headless chicken for most of the game. too bad we'll have to do without alonso.

anyone also thought we gave the ball away on too many occassions? put the defenders under quite a bit of pressure. hope we can hold on to the ball better next leg.

hyypia screw up ?? did u turn on the TV volume to listen to what commentator say or not ?

Solid performance he had shown in this match. Especially clearing the header and to deal with the long ball. Of course..on the ground..Joe cole and drogba is faster than him..they are way too young to deal with.

at least hyypia play..we manage to get a draw.

Much better than "as long as Pelle play (both at home and away), we concede a goal or 2".

we don't haf alonso for the next game against chelski and thus we need Gerrard to be in top form and performance.

he jus couldn't grab hold of this game against Chelski. he was... a mere passenger. igor biscan perhaps had a more starling game than he did. digging in where it matters.

maybe we can try for cisse with baros and place biscan with gerrard in the centre of the midfield. with garcia on the right and riise on the left.

chelski need jus one goal... and we need at least 2 goals. not easy. :sweat:

alonos...well done. take a rest and we need u in the final.

baros..running headlessly. Albiet he has 1 shot on target. If it is a goal...he had done his job as a striker.

Gerrard..not playing as distributor role as Alonso. He is upfront and start the job the destroy the passing from deep in Chelsea 2nd half.

Both Gerrard and alonso did keep Lampard quiet the whole game.

Well done.. but we might not take thing easy. Chelsea playing away as dangerous as playing home.


When is our next EPL match ? this saturday ? Pelle will play and we will concede goal after a clean sheet last nite.
