wonder about woodgate though. don't look like he'll have much chance at real and he's a good player.

Sell Baros, top-up and then buy Owen?? or will we turn again into GH's style of play.. tight defence, kick the ball and hope to catch people on the counter attack with Owen's pace..

forget abt mickey... if you take mickey back... it's such an insult.. i rather exchange baros for Anelka!

I dun recall he has any attitude problem when we was with us a couple of years back. In fact, i think most liverpool players would agreed that he played well and should be signed instead of going to Man City....

I think when he left for REAL, it was really his brother (the agent) thats behind it... and come on, who wouldn't leave Arsenal for REAL.... even Macca and Owen left liverpool for REAL.

No attitude because he was trying to earn a contract. Eventually, Man City offered him one.

the only difference is that both Anelka and Macca left Liverpool to go Real and to win Champion League.

owen left Liverpool to Real win nothing where Liverpool win Champion League.

i'd rather mickey torpedoed his own career by rotting in the reserves of Real Madrid then to see him donning the colours of Man Utd. his 'eternal' placing among most LIVERPOOL fans would forever be gone, if it hasn't already been tarnished...:thumbsd:

i can only say he brought it upon himself. left Liverpool in a limbo and moved to Real Madrid to play third fiddle striker and now, tossed and thrown around like a piece of meat... i feel sad for him, not!

throw mickey to the TIGERS!!

actually i can see his house being burned down.. ho ho ho

this article smacks of sympathy in favour of mickey owen. read it and u might agree with me.

it is totally 'for' mickey and i find alot of 'facts' and 'arguments' flawed. i think the writer must be an Everton or Man Utd fan.:thumbsd:

to me, i still believe that mickey owen walked out on LIVERPOOL and it wasn't as what was mentioned, that he 'took a chance' by moving abroad. i find it hard to accept him back with an 'open arm' nor do i like to see him in man utd colours. ha!

Seriously, i couldn't care less if Owen goes to Man U, he will still be behind RVR and Rooney as far as i am concerned.... He's goner in terms of his career the moment he left Liverpool... With his limited skill and size and a much slower speed now, i am pretty sure his best years are behind him....

wa seh... one slice see the blood ooze out. :bsmilie:

i guess only LIVERPOOL would play a style to suit mickey owen. i can't imagine Man Utd changing their style of play to accomodate mickey, that is if they decide to pursue him!

RVN, Rooney, Smith, Bellion, Ole, Saha... and mickey owen??? :bsmilie:
