His star players are actually those from the academy like Fowler, Macca, Rednapp and carra etc which all went on to play for Houllier.

To add on..Rafa star players to win CL are actually those from Houllier regime like Dudek, Carra, Finnan, Traore, Hamann, Smicer, Gerrard, Cisse (signed by oullier), Baros, Kewell, Biscan, (despite of Alonso) which all went on to play for Rafa.

Whether Houllier failed to bring their potential..I dun look at it.
But I do see that Houllier left a good squad for Rafa to work on.

Kudos to Houllier, and Rafa. but for Souness , I :sticktong .
if u are newcastle fans..u will also :sticktong Souness.

Can u imagine he can turn Newscastle to finish 15th ?

BTw..so far we had released so many players...yet to sign any.
and we have to submit our squad for UEFA for the CL qualifying matches..This is a bit worrying.

Can change squad before the group stage provided the new players haven't played for another club, so no worries there. Frankly the clubs in 1st and 2nd qualifying rounds aren't of a very high calibre.

finnan was caught for dangerous driving. he had no intention to kill the victim. It is an accident.

Ver Persie raped the victim...Unless he can convince the police that he raped that girl unintentionally/accidentally...
