Yup, if it was intentional it would be murder already. But still it is irresponsible driving causing a life, accident or not.

I am no legal expert..in singapore...dangerious driving and drove some one to death..what is the penalty ?

Most serious case ...may be 6 years in jail I guess.

But if u rape a girl ...what is the penalty ? Jail for 12 years and 8 rottan ?

That's why I see Ver Persie is more "deeper" in sh*t.

To add on..Rafa star players to win CL are actually those from Houllier regime like Dudek, Carra, Finnan, Traore, Hamann, Smicer, Gerrard, Cisse (signed by oullier), Baros, Kewell, Biscan, (despite of Alonso) which all went on to play for Rafa.

Whether Houllier failed to bring their potential..I dun look at it.
But I do see that Houllier left a good squad for Rafa to work on.

It is true that Houllier left a big group of players that Rafa use. This is expected as this is the case for most 1st yr mgr, as the same case with Ranieri and Mourhino.

However, if you look at the players performance this year compared with last year... I think there's a great difference.
Dudek, Hamann, Hyypia, Smicer and Gerrard probably played at same level. Traore, Finnan, Biscan and Baros most definitely played better than any of their season in liverpool.

As for Cisse, he was out almost the whole season and did not play a part in both League Cup and CL campaigne. Similarly, Kewell most definitely played worse than last year when he began the season very well.

Also not forgetting the fact that we sold off our top scorer Owen, 2nd scorer Heskey, one of our top midfielder Murphy ( or is it last season? old liaoz), our african player of the year (Diouf) and yet last season we reach UEFA cup 1/8 final and now CL Champion.

Thats why i say Rafa is better than Houllier at least in Europe. Rem we were kick out of CL by Basel? Lost in UEFA to bucharest etc?

Kudos to Houllier, and Rafa. but for Souness , I :sticktong .
if u are newcastle fans..u will also :sticktong Souness.

Can u imagine he can turn Newscastle to finish 15th ?

BTw..so far we had released so many players...yet to sign any.
and we have to submit our squad for UEFA for the CL qualifying matches..This is a bit worrying.

and the sicknote-Kewell is still on the injury list...

Yes.. I hated Souness for his stupid transfer dealings that saddled liverpool with mediocre players. In his 2 seasons, we finished 6th and 8th in EPL and did not win anything. His only saving grace? Introducing Fowler at the end of his reign.

As for Evans, believe it or not, he's more successful in league and CL qualification than Houllier (if you take into account the rule change by UEFA on no. of qualifiers.) Under Evans, we finished 4th, 3rd, 4th & 3rd. We would have qualified for CL every season. This also proved my point that Houllier took over a team thats consistently was top 3 or 4 in EPL. Fowler was then the no. 1 striker for most of the 1st 3 seasons. He scored 25, 28 and 18 league goals... then owen came along.

The last season Evan had, Liverpool decided to change things up and challenge for the title and hire Houllier as joint mgr, which turns out to be disastrous.. imagine reporting to 2 bosses? We finished 7th..

No problem!!!

think that there are even more clubsnap fellows who had went to Anfield b4... but did not have the time to share their photos..

Me just lucky to to there at the right time
(business trip => Liverpool wins European Cup => Visit Anfield)

apparently... Liverpool interested in Steed Malbranque... i wish Rafa signs him... that will take care of our RM.

precisely...but i seldom met any chelsea fans who are delighted what a tremedous ground work Ranieri had done...to provide the platform for Mourinho to take them further to be champion.

Yup... but you can also say that Mourihno is a better mgr as he's able to bring out the best in players like Terry and Lampard, who have improved tremendously.

His transfer record wasn't that great though as he mainly steals from his PORTO team.

I think Steed is a realistic target and a good buy. Figo is good but old, unless we have someone waiting in the wings to take over in 1/2 years (maybe warnock? but he's more left footed), we shd not sign him. We are not rebuilding so need instant impact...

.

no issue...Mourinho is a much better manager to Ranieri.

Of course Mourinho is credited to bring out the talent of Terry and lampard...but what if Ranieri left to Mourinho with the bunch of player at Kezman quality ?

wonder what kind of magic Mourinho can do ...

too much transfer rumours surrounding LFC nowadays..really wonder which is true which is not...

Steed is a good player..I am sure he will do better than garcia in EPL playing as RM.

Cross my fingers for Steed Malbranque to sign for Liverpool. ;p

Hmm today quiet day....some updates:

Spitting king Diouf has signed for Bolton for 4 years, and Liverpool has been forced to cancel their tour of Japan due to clashes with CL qualifying matches.

Yupz... also in the news is Liverpool is interested in signing Juan Fran from Real Madrid as Real Madrid is rumoured to be prepared to add him as part of a 30m pound transfer for Gerrard.

Liverpool also seen to be chasing Miguel of Benfica/Portugal....Not interested in Figo due to wage demand... Chasing Kuyt for 7-8m pound....

Here's what Rafa says abt his transfer targets....
"I want to go to the market thinking about players with passion, as well as ability, then I know that we will do better things in the future," he said.

"My plan is to improve the reserve team for next season, and to have some more players ready for the first team.

"As a big club you need to increase your level to look for the best players in the world, and we are trying to find some players for different positions. But the most important thing is to find skilful players, and players with character. "

I think Diouf prob costs bolton 3-4m max... a lost of at least 6-7m pound over 2 years... what a waste of money...

I think Bolton only paid 2.5m for Diouf.
