Fowler past his prime when he left liverpool? Not true at all...

Rem his part in the UEFA Cup win? Moreover, if i am not wrong we sold fowler for 11m to LEEDS... 3m more than Mickey mouse and it's to LEEDS and not REAL...

i still believe that fowler's past his best when he left Liverpool for Leeds.

he scored the 3rd goal to put Liverpool ahead again against Alaves. we sold him to leeds for £11million and mickey was offloaded to real for £8million plus a player.

which part of my sentence was mis-interpreted? my bad...
its been an emotional day with the Stevie G issue.

be sincere to yourself and all of us lah.....fowler really left us after he had pass his prime time. I think he was at his best during 1994-1997.

hopefully my gut feeling of Gerrard will stay comes true.

yes..let hope so....finger crossed and pray hard hard...

hahaa..me such a dramatic U turn now...after a dramatic U turn by Gerrard decision.

Hope tomorrow he will U turn again and tell RIck Parry that he wants to leave again.

now, for the EPL title and the CL Cup assault!

heh, still remember fowler's first appearance for Liverpool when he was 18, a substitute appearance and he scored a goal too!

but i forgot against which team... i know he played alongside Ian Rush in that game.

I know... his best is probably 1994-97 but he was coming back and playing well in that final season. If not for the fact that Heskey and Owen were 1st choice under Houllier, he will prob score a couple more.

Prob with Fowler is not his talent but his off-field problems... Somehow it affects some of the best palyers... To this day, i still think Fowler is a better striker than Owen.

Rule of thumb  .....

when u are at your prime..the manager and the board want u...and it is up to u to choose "to stay" or "to leave". ie Gerrard as of now.

when u are after your prime time...the manager and the board do not want u. they want to sell u to other club..and u have no choice given but to leave...eventhough u really want to stay.

same here. i always feel that Fowler's a let-down to himself esp. he's the best finisher besides shearer. he's way better than that mickey mouse. his life away from the pitch got him in.

anyway, that reminds me of another talented striker but totally volatile. stan collymore's exceptional. but yet again another wasted talent.

good thing we sold him to aston villa back then. he's a disruptive influence.

If he was really at this best..he would not be playing behind heskey and Owen. He would be 1st choice striker.

Remember why he is named God..at this best...he scored from every corner. A hattrick against arsenal within 5 min....At his best..he is far more a better than 2000/2001 owen.

and I can tell u I also know another wasted English talent.. He is damn cool finisher...youngest ever to score for England....and a highlight of modern english football.

but his farkoff attitude, no discipline personal lifestyle and frequently visited the brothel..will eventually make him worse on pitch...

Do u who he is ??

erm, i only know Liverpool players leh...

youngest ever to score for England? striker or defender or midfielder?

must be that fat kid

who else in EPL has no brain at all to tell his fiancee that he frequently visited the brothel, particularly only that prostitute...??

whether midefielder or defender....he is so far the youngest player to score for england. (not under 17, but the senior squad).

and the talented player had won no medal so far...not even a league cup...

I still think we should sell SG for 40M. I think he is over-rated.
I think he only worth not more than 20M.

The dramtic U-turn seems to me that's some fissy thing going on.......mayb he had been threaten by some die-hard fan..n so scare tat he has no choice but to stay.............

Worth not more than 20m ? But then chelsea bid for 32m.

Seems like u have far more a better football brain than Mourinho and Peter Kenyon.

Care to introduce yourself....I think FAS will be interested to appoint u as techincal director.

My oh my! What a rollercoaster ride! What a quick u-turn. Some 'fans' also made a quick u-turn! :bsmilie: Shows what kinda prima donna one is. Anyway, Liverpool should have cash in on him. 35-40M pounds dun sound bad at all. ;)
