Bah!!! A 0-0 draw at home:cry:

With Arsenal losing, this has become a 2 horse race between Man U and Chelsea.

I don't know about you guys, but this starting to look like the 04/05 season, where Liverpool struggled to do well at EPL, and with an increasing injury list, and doing well at the Champion League...... Maybe Liverpool has a good chance to win the Champion League again;)

ya. upset to read abt the draw.

portsmouth came with 11men behind the ball.

arsenal out too. hehehe

can't wait to read wat arsene and henry will be moaning and whining abt! :bsmilie:

   supprise win over the weekend ended 100% losing streak for away game 4-0 somemore:bsmilie: The bad boys scored!:bsmilie:

A long overdued away victory. May be too late to save this season.....

"FA Cup holders Liverpool have been drawn at home to Arsenal in the pick of the ties in the third round of this year's competition.

The draw gives Rafael Benitez's side a chance for revenge after losing 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium on November 12.

They also meet in the quarter-finals of the Carling Cup on December 19."

Guess what? "Old boy Paul Ince's Macclesfield, bottom of Coca-Cola League Two, got a plum draw against Premiership champions Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Ince revealed one of the first people he spoke to after the Silkmen landed the Premiership champions was Frank Lampard." Ince trying to buy him?:bsmilie:

Former England international Ince will take his team, bottom of the Football League, to Stamford Bridge to face the Blues, who Ince beat in the final of this competition for Manchester United in 1994.

While it is a personal high for the Town boss, he admits he is disappointed Jonny Brain, Andrew Teague and Jimmy McNulty will miss the game having all suffered broken legs last week.

Ince said: 'I'm just delighted for the club but your first thought is about the lads that got injured and it's a shame they will miss it.

'But we'll take them down with us and make sure they're a big part of it.

'It'll help the club this year and next year and it'll be great for the fans.

'But you've got to be realistic and no-one will give us much of a chance down there.

'I've been on the phone to Frank Lampard and the banter has started already.'

Ince has so far been unable to play for Macclesfield as he featured for Swindon after the transfer window closed.

By the time the match in London comes around, he will be eligible to play although he accepts his players may have something to say if he immediately picks himself in an attempt to recreate his heroics against the Blues in 1994.

He continued: 'I was buzzing, as a manager, to draw Chelsea but then I started thinking that I can play.

'I'm not too sure what the lads would think about me putting myself straight in for a game like that but it's something to think about!

'I played in the final against Chelsea and they started the game well but we got a couple of goals up with a couple of (Eric) Cantona penalties.

'Towards the end I got through and I should have scored but I squared it and I wish I'd scored now.

'This is a great draw for us but I've got to say that the main priority is for us to stay in the league.'
