honestly speaking , i think they are out of the title race . no teamwork and perservance unlike arsenal.

lousy.

arsenal were thousand miles apart and were a class act.

let's concentrate on not gettin relegated!

Guys dont sound so gloomy.
Arsenal have definitely got a classy style of playing but that wasnt necessarily the difference between the teams. The first goal was very important. If Liverpool had got that, it would have been a different story.
Lesser teams try to play totally defensively against Arsenal and make them struggle. Rafa was more open with 2 strikers and this worked for Arsenal. They found spaces more easily.

Only downside I can see for Liverpool is that Gerrard looks pretty uninterested. He appeared to be going through the motions. When he got that assists for Bellamy's goal(ruled offside), he showed no emotion when ball went in (he didnt know it was offside). Maybe it was too late but still..you expect a reaction from the captain. Everything doesnt appear too rosy between him and the gaffer.

Now that Liverpool have got their most difficult away fixtures out of the way, they should do better on the road.

wah, u guys came out from under the pillow so fast ah?

I simply cannot understand why Zenden was playing in the centre, he was rushing around like a headless chicken! Think Kuyt made more runs and tackles than him.

A bit too soon to think about relegation though, unless we start dropping games at home.... omg, i dun even wanna imagine...

heh heh

read the newpaper and was told that ARSENAL is the most hated club in england, no, not chelski!

its becos they are a team of foreigners!

hey, not even one english player was in the line-up nor on the bench.
was i wrong? :embrass:

to me, arsenal is the team that plays the most attractive game.
losing to them is a knock on the chin but hey, it beats losing away to sheff utd which we narrowly escaped! keke

Not quiet so.
When I was working there couple of years back, ManU were the most hated team.
Chelsea are the most hated ones right now. At times Arsenal have got a number of standing ovations at stadiums around the country where fans just appreciate the quality of football they play, setting aside team loyalties.

The foreign player issue is a bit overhyped.
Arsenal have had Pennant , Upson, Jeffers, Bentley, Richard Wright and all had their chance to prove themselves. They were talented but just didnt make the grade at Arsenal. There were better "foreign" players who deserved to start before them. They got frustrated and moved on. On other hand players like Ashley Cole and Sol Campbell worked hard and developed into world class players. Buying great english players (Rooney/Lampard..Gerrard) doesnt come cheap. Wenger never had those kind of budgets.

Currently Hoyte and Walcott have got potential. Lets see if they fulfill it.

 let's avoid relegation this season!

Come on. Let's not be so gloomy. There are still the CUPS to look forward to.....

Maybe this season we'll do one better and win the Champion League, FA Cup, League Cup, European Super Cup, World Club Cup and.......what other cups are there?:bsmilie:

To my beloved Reds:
:cheergal: GO LIVERPOOL GO!!! :cheergal:

i think we might win the Euro Cup again this season. :bsmilie:
