I think he may leave...
Having spent so much money on players, he is still not able to revamp the team close to what it was in the 80s... :sweat:
Until now he couldn't figure out why the team performance is not consistent and he knows the team rely too much on their captain marvel.

Arsenal deserved the win. they were more positive in their approach and more cohesive and penetrating in their play. Still, the scoreline probably flattered them quite a bit. Our defence this season has a tendency to fall asleep at times and we paid the price. I'm not saying our defenders are bad, certainly not. But they lack tactical awareness and the ability to read the flow of the game. If you watch our games, we react rather than anticipate. The moment the ball comes in, then we move. we are already at a disadvantage by then and often get pulled out of place by intelligent movements and then fall victim to late runs into the box. only the ability and athleticism of carra and hyypia saved us previously. not any longer it seems.
Our attack. My same old rant. No ideas, no inspiration, no understanding between players. Simply too predictable and seemed to depend to much on hit and hope. we probably had more shots i think, but most from way out. Arsenal had their chances closer in and the chances were often well crafted with players moving well into position. And they do it in advance of the actual pass, not like LFC players who seemed to only move when the ball is already passed. Dun they have a game plan?
Rafa was simply too cautious. I think he lost some faith in the lads and therefore is afraid to take risks. That can only be bad. Gerrard and Alonso were poor for most of this season. Gonzalez was like cisse but on the left without the weird haircut.
It's an old rant, but I still think if Hamann is here, he could have added some much needed stability and covered our backline better.
