Totally agree!! During the last match, we hardly see Gerrard with the chance to attack, but when he does, he make full effective use of it. His talent is totally wasted by playing a more defensive role. Lampard is only good at popping up from others lay off and try to score, whereas Gerrard is able to power his way through and create his own goal.

DROP LAMPARD!!! LET GERRARD PLAY AS THE ATTACKING MIDFIELDER!!!

IIRC once at kallang stdm that steven gave one caucasian pahang defender (alan davidson?) the lobang. steven went on to score after that. that was classic goal :thumbsup: around that time steven became the lion's super-sub.
