Too much running here and there, with overtouchy self-righteous referees who blow the whistle for every little petty infringement and they love to miss the obvious fouls. Also living in Liverpool city itself can't be much fun at all.
When they play Champions' League, it's a cup tie mood with generally more agreeable/reasonable referees, and the players get a chance to play against more interesting opponents that they can play more tactically and skillfully against. In a sense, it's more fun for them.
To do well in the EPL, takes a lot more effort............. Don't talk about playing man. I already feel tired watching a typical EPL game. I don't blame them if they generally can't be bothered.
It'll be darn funny if say Liverpool keeps ending up mid-table in the EPL and keeps winning the Champions' League for the next few years. I am just joking about this last sentence of course........ it's quite obvious that Wigan Athletic will be the next kings of Europe....
