I always hope Liverpool can achieve Bill Shankley's Dream....

aiyo... take it one step at a time. esp. after an international week. only Chelski went on to win 2-0 against sunderland but they are playing on home soil.

bagging a 0-0 draw to me against hotcakes is a fair result esp. when they could've bagged a victory for the lousy way we played in the first half.:sweat:

Look at the results, we have 5 pts out of 3 matches, no goals conceded and 1 goal (freekick) scored.

The 2 draws comes against boro and spurs and both are top 6-8 teams so away draws against them is considered improvement, esp since Spurs lose narrowly against Chelsea and Boro beat Arsenal....

The problem though is scoring... we are just firing blanks...

Cisse is a tad too selfish and Garcia must really cut out his fanciful passing.... I will actually drop garcia and play potter at this type of performance.

Also, Gerrard is a pale shadow of his old self, prob due to fatigue for england's match....

Looking ahead, i think we stand a good chance of winning against Betis since they have quite a few injuries...provided we can score (which seems to be not a problem in Europe)...

0-0 against Spurs is consider a good result. Spurs is currently a good team with good players. They lost to Chelsea due to the sending off of Mido. If they played with 11 men, maybe they could upset their london neighnours.
 

its a bad result.
good team should win away.

Looking at the current crop of team challenging for title, Chelsea n maybe Man U/Arsenal if they buck up can challenge for honors, these 3 will be the top3 again.

At least Arsenal even losing at Boro are playing with fluid passing and idea.
Liverpool little domination, and shots at goal.

I'll take any bets on for "fool" to win this year title.
