Lenscap for leica 28mm lenshood

Chiif does not have it in stock

Its the rectangular lens cap that fits onto the rectangular lenshood for the Leica 28mm lens

If anyone can point me in the right direction I will really appreciate that

Which 28mm? Elmarit28Asph or Summicron28Asph or some other?
If for Elmarit28Asph, it takes the same hood as Summicron35Asph which is #12526 and the replacement hood cap is #14043.

I've been using a piece of hard stylofoam (about 1/2") thick, cut it to the shape of my Elmarit 28mm ASPH and tape a piece of duct tape on it for easy removal. The original rectangular lens cap is too expensive to loose while shooting.

This tip was advised by the leica forum.

Actually, I do not like this hood for the 28Asph. It makes it look too big. Prefer the hood #12589 for the Summilux35Asph(not FLE) which will not vignet even for Full Frame.

Checked mine and Leica Product code is #14013.
Do a google search should find a few sources for it though they list as cap for R35f1.4 lens but it's the same one for Cron28Asph.
