If you must buy (don't know where to keep the money), buy 85mm. If you don't like it, sell it and buy 105mm.

If you can afford it and if you need it, why not get them both together?? You will be getting one now and later the other anyway.
BTW, if you sign card for it, you can actually ask for progressive payment...not so heavy on the pocket.
Take full control of your 50mm lens (and also your camera). Know its advantages and disadvantages. When you see something you want to shoot with 50mm, without look into viewfinder you can imagine what should it be (composition, DoF, exposure), then you set your camera accordingly to get shoot like what you want.master?

i'm a very frank person so do pardon me if i step on toes.
i think if buying small price items(small price as oppose to big pricetags like cars) also need to pay by instalments, it's a bit 'pathetic'.
again, this is my personal opinion.
