that depends lah, for those who enjoy macro... think they will get it, otherwise, learn from a cheap skate like me lor... hehehe...

i think its using a 50mm as base, indicated in the review... for 1:1 think its about 25mm extension, for 2:1 mean 50mm extension, for 3:1 mean 75mm extension... so logically, i think using extension tubes are cheaper... but u lose the 1.xx 2.xx 3.xx range...

Hahaha.....

I studied the optics inside and its actally resembles the 50mm lrnd in reverse orientation.

but cannot reverse our 50mm f/1.7 :cry:
thats why they made this one.
