Finally I join the elite group of Leica owners.. Just got mine today.. Anyways I am looking for the grip or a case for x1. Anyone can make a recommendation for additional accessories and where to get them in Singapore. Looking at the case more important need not be Leica original. Thanks

Hey congrats and welcome! Currently I'm using a crumpler camera pouch which I got from local store at Wheelock. I find that it has good padding, extra pocket for battery and cleaning cloth and very practical for my use. Leica accesories can go get from Alan photo at Sim Lim but very limited may have to order. I got my Leica wrist landyard from them but if you are not particular about brand you can go upstairs at the mobile phone accesories shops where u can buy the wrist straps for a fraction of the cost and many styles to choose from.

So when can we see pics from your X1?

I arrived at the airshow around 1+ and was there on the last day of the show. Don't think 787 flew that day only the 380..the best part was the spectator area was only like 150m away from the runway so take off and landings were in full view.

Between $2.7-$2.8k, depending on which shop and salesperson you ask. Spare batteries are about $130-145.
