As a reference, it's $1550 and $1300 AUD (inclusive GST) respectively for the 7-14 and 8mm preorder at one store.
1 AUD's about 1.07SGD currently and GST there is 10% so comparable to Sg.

S$1800 for 7-14 is not cheap. Almost same price as 40-150 f2.8

Woah. 1800 for the new 7-14mm? Seriously? I think I will stick to my old Panny 7-14mm, I'm not willing to go above 1500 for the new lens.
