if we do meet... maybe at APSL.... kopi no prob.... thank for the lobang.... else I would have gotten a D80 instead if I did not pop by APSL to get my gear, mostly I do but sometime just don't have the time to go SL... very poisonuous place..... was telling Steven the same thing.... heng, got lobang.... else sway sway go another shop, that's it.... don't know bang how many time wall.....

likely a year from now or may not ;-). E.g. D70/80, waited for 6 years, still around $1400 at best ;-)

One shop at Lucky plaza offer me 1000SGD for d200 body + 2 GB CF card.:bigeyes::bigeyes:

Dont fall in some scheme like this...
Last time I was in Lucky Plaza, searching for camera for my gf, before going back to my country in the next morning. I kept getting cheaper and cheaper price. As one of the shop really gave a very impossible price, I decided to buy it from him.

However - after I accepted the offer, He asked whether I want to buy a SD card from him. I answered no , since I also had SD cards at home. Suddenly his face became not friendly, and said for that price I need to buy a SD card, and this was a lesson for me searching for the cheapest price. :nono: What a crap.! I forgot the name of the shop, but the owner face is like pig and his shop is very near to the pizza hut.

I guessed he want to cheat me on the price of the SD... If not, you can be cheated as he only offer you "come with Card" - however, the battery, strap, etc will not be included. Sometimes they will threat you that the price will not valid anymore after you walking away from their shop, without buying. The only safe Camera shop in Lucky Plaza is only LORDS.
