Last Night of Lantern Festival '08

Managed to capture a shot of this scene during twilight. Anybody have any idea of settings to use to prevent the moon in #1 from getting blown out while maintaining the exposure? Thanks.

Probably you might need to do a HDR...

Thanks for the suggestion, but I was hoping to do it without HDR. Been thinking perhaps a GND might help.

I have left the exif intact in the picture.
Anyway in case you are wondering, the settings used are as follows;

Lens: Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED-IF AF-S VR
Aperture Priority Mode
Matrix Metering
WB: Auto
ISO: 200
Shutter: 2s
Aperture: f/13
