I think ordering small quantity to try first. Why not do a pilot order of only 5 boxes to try first ?

5 of us each one 1 box to see how lah. If Ok then next round go for it.

pdt cost (5x 49.5) = US$247.5
shipping = US$42.2
total = US$289.70 (<S$400 so no GST!)
so per box cost is US$57.94 = S$75.29

if you all wanna ship back things more than $400, what you can do is split each shipment into less than $400 then send to vpost and one time consolidate back to SG. As long each shipment that arrives at vpost is less than $400, there won't be gst charge even though the total consolidated shipment is worth more than $400. The only problem is actually using vpost.. their service getting poorer by the months.. but sadly still the cheapest..

i just use a cheap loupe bought many years ago that i used to view my 35mm slides over the lightbox. You can try ruby or feifei (upper cross st) for a cheaper loupe.

If u have a spare 50mm lenses can use that for time being. I misplaced my loupe as well, somewhere in my room.....

Strange, LLKang you and me all have the same loupe.

This was state of the art to view 135mm slides many years ago. It still is one of the best.

Anyway, the sunny 16 and the loupe doesn't sounds very good. The rest are fine from my POV.

I use a video light at 5600k as my light box works well when viewing slides

Advantage is that the intensity is variable and fits in my bag and works on battery
