Larger Format Photography

After some scouting, location will be at Jalan Bukit Ho Swee. Interesting place and most likely few years later, the place might be force to be en blocked as well. (I see some construction going on beside the estate most likely for the current resident to move when HDB want to get rid of the old flats) Went there to scout and there are very old flats still living people. Those are flats where the side of the HDB is exposed staircase like those you see in the national heritage video of the first few flats. For those who staying long, we can walk till Eng Hoon St and enjoy the good porridge there for lunch

I do hope people can make it for this outing as the local resident are still there and the building are still kept unlike Queenstown where when I want to plan my second outing, it is no more and the initial outing has quite little people attending. Lucky, I have been shooting there once a while enjoying the quiet of the estate area in the early morning.

I am considering an outing on the 21 this month for some old estate shot (Those who went shooting with me knows my shooting timing is very early). As usual, LF shooters are more than welcome, interested 120 and 135 format shooters are also welcome. It most likely will be my last planned outing till end of this year.

Locations: Thiong Bahru (Jalan Bukit Ho Swee), We will be meeting up at Thiong Bahru MRT

Target: Old Estate at Jalan Bukit Ho Swee and till near Thiong Bahru Market.

Timing: 21 August 2011, Meet up at 0715

Yes, please try to make it. I think one and the most accurate thing about the newspaper report is getting LF shooters together.

Ya, just sent invitation to someone who owns a Wista DX II. Long time since I last seen a wooden camera after meeting a Tachihara user. Hopefully he is in Singapore and saw my PM (Last login profile is on May...) and can make it.

Sadly, toyo I don't know anyone attending has one. Linhof, I know someone who might be coming has one, but dunno if he is bringing it there.

67 is a petty big format in the MF area and more usable being more mobile. I am still stuck in the Mamiya 7 poison. But just gotten new lens from EvilBay (Schneider 90mm f8 super angulon synchro compur) so pocket getting more shallow. Total damage is 198 SGD with shipment and adapter from #00 to #0 included. If someone saw a mamiya 7 set with kit lens selling below 1K SGD can please PM me???:cry:
