i look at their facial features and wonder if hmong people are really from
korea, manchuria and northeast china as their tale have described. this is
quite a poor village. this boy is among the better dressed. hygiene isn't
really good and many kids who have a cold simply have some shiny stuff
left untouched on their upper lips. the colors of the table top is bright
plastic blue, but i change the hue to magenta as it matches the color
composition better
poor ISO ability and dark environment. this shot i think is taken by my 18-
200mm. at 135mm, i got f/5.6 largest aperture, handheld at 1/3 seconds.
the ISO is not in the properties column (there are other methods but
tedious to check), but i think it is probably ISO800 for nikon D50. i got the
motion blur (not out of my choice) but couldn't get the face sharp. in fact,
most of my tele attempts are gone case, only this one is near decent.
funny thing is while the main subject has blurring, the other women who is
lower down is decently sharp.
