The golden warehouse, stored the 7-headed-naga (onsidered nature spirits and the protectors of springs, wells and rivers) boat, used during spiritual festival.

I waited for at least 5 minutes, stood like a stone man, peep thru the tiny viewfinder, trying to capture the moment the bird flew off.

I gave up eventually, and the bloody bird flew off immediately after I hit the shutter!!

By the riverside of Mekong, these are the "buses" that send passengers across river.
They also provide boat ride service, about SGD20 for 1 hr.

A view I captured when the boat is making a U-turn. In the middle of the river, the view is simply astonishing, and of course, this picture did not bring out a tenth of it.

Rewind a little, back to Vang Vieng. I find myself attracted always to all these isolated stuffs, loner perhaps?

Monk receiving morning Alms.
It has became a tourism gimmicks to attract tourists. Original value no more.
The second monk, who was in focused in this photo, was actually deciding if he wants to collect more sticky rice. Eventually, he walked off.

Nice. Am enjoying your series. Have never thought of going there; perhaps I should reconsider.

Thanks.
You should give it a try. In fact, it's "same same, but different" to her neighboring countries.
