Morning Fire

A break from the "hyper colour mess" that I do.

I think the morning I experienced today was pretty surreal in the sense it felt like a sunset. The colours and clouds were identical to what I saw on Saturday.

To top that off, there was a rainbow too.. Quite a lovely morning but I had to rush off to school.. So this 16 tile panorama, I know what you're thinking" what the hell 16 photos for this??" Yes, 16 photos... was all I could really get from it.

Reason for this was because I had only my 28-80 and 50mm with me. 28mm on a 1.6x crop is quite possibly a terrible wide angle.

HDB

HDB, no thats not the name of some new technique I learnt in photoshop.. It's actually more closer to home.. literally.. It's an acronymn for Housing Development Board.

Or in other words, "Home" for a majority of Singaporeans and some permanent residents and so on.

Although Singaporeans think the endless blocks are boring, it is in fact quite lovely considering it doesn't look run down or ghetto.

Probably why we're so "sheltered" in our thinking too..

10 Seconds to Sunset

As I stood on there with elbows on the parapet, I knew the sunset was spectacular and the best I've ever seen. No matter the countless million times I've used this composition and subject but the clouds and light that day was simply magnificent.

So I spent the remainder what time we had together and watched you fall..

I like your piece "sub". I would prefer cropping off the top, just at the horizon. Like the chaos created by the waves. The tones are also well controlled.
