Good news, the chargers are in singapore. I should be getting them later today or tomorrow. Collection is now arranged tentatively on 10th Nov 6-7PM. Will Contact via SMS to confirm.

Did not see this thread until only just 10 mins ago, was reading other charger threads and there was ding-donging but still not sure which was the better charger between Maha, Varta.

Was actually keen to get this charger didn't realise that there was an MO, darn I miss out on this.

Can someone advise if the power receptacle is US type pins or orderable to suit UK/SG power receptacle?

May ask a friend to ship it for me, but want to ensure that UK/SG power receptacle can be ordered.

In no hurry... was thinking of getting the Sanyo Quick charger in the afternoon but I still have another charger at home will use that till then, appreciate keeping me posted how well this charger performs, thanks in advance.

Just tried tried on old sets of GP battery (1800mAh) and new Panasonic (2000mAh) and have been setting charging current at 1000 for 4 batts and seems like it always overheat and stop. Now trying 500mAh for GP to test. Will post results later.
Funny that non of my other charger seems to stop charging for the Panasonic although I know it heats up fast. Tried Panasonic on Rayovac 1 hr charger and it gets really heated but is cooler on the Sony 30mins charger but both will fully charge it. Will test on Sanyo and others later.
